Job Description

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: The following are specific responsibilities and contributions critical to the successful performance of the position:
  • Conducting demonstration of products 
  • Assists with the restocking of products
  • Proper demonstration techniques. 
  • Must be knowledgeable of products to be able to recommend products to customers.
  • Must be able to demonstrate to customers how to use products.
  • Ability to meet sales goals.
  • Build customer relations through follow-up calls, 
  • Ability to recruit new customers, 
  • Stock shelves, and organize sales areas.
  • Possesses thorough knowledge of the particular products being sold and the cosmetic industry in general
  • Understands information about new products being developed and emerging on the market.
  • Gives product demonstrations for customers.
  • Sells customers as many appropriate products as possible.
  • Operates a cash register, credit card machine and computer.
  • Orders new products when necessary.
  • Stocks shelves and display counters.
  • Skincare consultations
  • Manages product inventory
  • Any other reasonable duties

SUPPORTIVE FUNCTIONS:
  • In addition to performance of the essential functions above, this position may be required to perform a combination of other supportive functions, to be solely determined by the supervisor based upon the particular requirements of Fontana Limited.

Other:
  • In order to properly service our clients, you may be required to work outside of our scheduled business hours.
  • Timely execution of duties in keeping with pre-arranged schedule.
  • Care and diligence in protecting the organization’s assets

Job Requirement

EXPERIENCE; EDUCATION OR CERTIFICATION
  • Certified Beauty Consultant (from a recognised institution)
  • Must be Customer Service certified 
  • At least two (2) years’ experience (retail would be an asset).
  • High School Diploma

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
  • Must be well groomed with hair in place and make up skillfully applied.
  • Must be able to keep up with trends and new developments in the industry.
  • Have an outgoing personality.
  • Have a strong interest in and understanding of the beauty product industry.
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems.
  • Ability to prepare routine administrative paperwork.
  • Must display self-confidence particularly when conducting demonstrations and performing makeovers.
  • Strong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate (verbal, listening, oral, writing) and manage well at all levels of the organization and with staff at remote locations essential.
  • Must be detailed oriented and a multitasker with superb organizational skills
  • Must possess a high level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency
  • Must have strong internal and external customer service skills
  • Willingness to demonstrate lateral service and support in a cooperative and pleasant manner for the overall good of the company.
